Grade 5 - Literacy

I am happy to say that Grade 5 have been very busy in completing all required classwork for the term. In addition they have been extremely busy with the extra activities the school offered this term.

Grade 5's have been involved in book week, character parade, fundraising events, excursions and preparation of experiments for Science week.

This term is coming to an end and therefore that means I will no longer be teaching the Grade 5's. But be assured that I will still be around.

I wish everybody a safe and restful break.

it is enjoyable when we study and sit our spelling tests
watching Behind the News and answering the discussion questions help with me knowing about what is happening.
able to use various types of text in writing
.we work in Reading Groups
it is a time where we use dictionaries and thesauruses
.we read read our Novel (the Witches) and do activities about the chapters we have read
the comprehension work helps us to understand better

Grade 6 Literacy

How fun, we were so nervous but we had lots of creativity in our presentation. Fatima and Dilara 6B

I loved preparing for my presentation I practiced my speech for 2 days Aliyah 6B

Grade 6's had a big project to complete and what a success it was. I am very proud of my students they went to lengthy efforts with their presentations. Fatima and Dilara made a TV box, Ahmed, Kaylan, Ahad, Mehmed were serious about their news presentation. They presented like a professional TV presenter. Fady and Ersan did a wonderful job and put in so much effort. Well Done to my Grade 6 team for an excellent effort in the literacy classroom. Please check out our photos.
